Originally from Durham, North Carolina, Rachel's confessional songwriting explores love, friendship, and the meaning of home.

She completed a thesis in 2020, Affordable Housing the Musical: A Study of Socially Engaged Art Making and Microactivism in Chapel Hill, North Carolina, which was awarded Highest Honors.

She released her debut EP, You Started a Fire, in 2021.

She is planning to release her debut album The Gardener in summer of 2024.

Rachel is currently based in Brooklyn, NY.
